This George may be a relative but he's probably too young to have had a child born in 1804...

George Wilson, a soldier & weaver of Airdrie b. abt 1792-94, pleaded guilty to forgery in Glasgow's High Court of Justiciary in Sep 1837 & was transported to NSW in 1838. I now have the transcripts of his precognition & trial, but it contains no reference to his family circumstances. His convict indent description mentions 2 tattoos, one of a scotch thistle on his right arm, & a blue ring on his wedding finger, which led me to think a previous marriage may have explained why he didn't marry the mother of his Australian child. Recently I found his transportation record in which he is described as having a wife & daughter but no names or ages are given. note, a witness at his trial, Jean Jack of the Common(?) Airdrie confirms this, stating that George and his unnamed wife and daughter lodged with her and skipped without paying. She believed they'd previously lodged with Mrs Glasgow in Airdrie. This is now confirmed by his convict hulk record, as is his claim to have been an old soldier (his obituary stated that he fought at Waterloo). - from  annmck on Rootschat

Anchor-Donaldson Line, T.S.S. Saturnia

The "Saturnia" was built by C.Connell & Co, Glasgow in 1910 for the Donaldson Line of Glasgow. She was an 8,611 gross ton ship, length 456.3ft x beam 55.3ft, one funnel, two masts, twin screw and a speed of 14 knots. There was accommodation for 250-2nd and 950-3rd class passengers. Launched on 29/3/1910, she sailed on her maiden voyage from Glasgow for Quebec and Montreal on 11/6/1910. In Aug.1911, she collided with an iceberg near Belle Isle but completed her homeward voyage. Her last voyage commenced on 12/3/1925 when she left Glasgow for Portland. She was laid up until 1928 when she was sold, and broken up in Italy the following year. There was a later (1927-1940) Italian liner with the same name.

The Glasgow shipping companies Anchor Line (Henderson Brothers) and the Donaldson Line both operated services to Canada. In 1916 they agreed to share these routes and form a joint company, Anchor-Donaldson, to operate the services. Four Donaldson ships, the Letitia, Saturnia, Cassandra and Athenia, were transferred to the new shipping line. Anchor-Donaldson survived until 1935, when the liquidation of Anchor Line (Henderson Brothers) resulted in the termination of the joint venture and Donaldsons formed the Donaldson Atlantic Line.
